  • New photography website!!!!!

I'm so excited about my new photography blog I'm starting!!! I just got my first post up today, so go check it out! I'm still working on the blog design and it's nothing fancy, so just bear with me as I experiment. Now, just let me say that I'm not a professional photographer yet by any means, but I'm learning and really excited about the prospects! This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time and so I'm thankful that God has started providing and working things out for me to get a good camera and learn more about it! So, I've still got a long way to go and my pics aren't any where near up to the quality I'm wanting to achieve, but I'm learning!!! Thanks for reading my blog and for the encouragement given me by many family and friends especially in getting into photography. I'm looking forward to seeing where this takes me... I'd appreciate y'all's prayers! Go check out my site at: www.xanga.com/leahmichellephotography

  • Peace through the unknown.....

Man......y'all! I miss blogging! Xanga just kinda seems to be out though. No one ever comments anymore. : (  Ahhh.....well, for you readers out there who perhaps may be reading my blog still and just not commenting.....I'm posting once more. Whether anyone cares or not...hehe! Really, just because I miss it. Life has been pretty much the same for me lately.... Traveling and singing non-stop! I'm trusting God to continue to guide my footsteps and show me the path to take! My special treasure verse I found today in the Bible just seemed perfect for where I am right now........ "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." Psalm 16:11   I know I can depend on my Heavenly Father to show me the path He has planned for my life....and for the next step even....... That causes such a wave of peace to wash over me.... A deep feeling of calm....just knowing that I don't have to know all the answers now, but can rest in His plan with complete assurance that He will never leave me or forsake me....... This picture below that I took today at sunset here in Alabama, just seems to say "peace" to me..... I CAN have peace.....knowing that my Father is here with me......working in what looks like darkness to me.....working above the clouds that hide the sun from me.....and all the while speaking peace to my soul..... Peace......no matter what comes my way....for He is the Author of peace.......

  • Happy 2009!!!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Day! I just wanted to put up a few Christmas pictures before it gets too late! God provided through a dear friend and allowed me to get a nikon camera that I've been praying about getting to help me with photography! So I've just started playing around with it and several of the pictures were taken on it! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!

The week before Christmas, my darling friend, Amantha, drove up from Louisiana to spend a few days with me! We had lots of crazy and fun times together.....but we didn't like any of the pictures we took together! We look tired in most of them. It might have a little to do with staying up into the wee hours of the morning every night.....hehe! Here's one that is ok.....(it's over exposed and their are raindrops in front of us....oh well!)

  • Merry Christmas!!!!

I'm enjoying a lovely Christmas season at home....(happy sigh) It's sure good to be home...especially at Christmas time! I'm so very thankful for the little things that our Heavenly Father gives us to let us know how much He loves us! This time of year is the sweetest to me... I love everything about Christmas time! I love the decorations, the music, the family traditions.....it's all so special and full of joy to me! Most of all, though, I'm thankful for the most joyous night in the history of the world....when God sent the gift of His only Son to this sin filled world with a specific purpose and plan! It's such a beautiful plan of redemption that our God has woven through the ages....and it's still saving mankind today...right now, as we celebrate this season! That's so awesome to me....that the birth of our Savior over two thousand years ago has changed MY life....FOREVER!!!! Now that's worth celebrating!!!! So, even though I LOVE the traditions of lovely trees and yummy cookies....and caroling in the cold.....and giving gifts to family and friends....(and being home!) I want it ALL to remind me to rejoice everyday in the gift that God gave to me....salvation forever!!!! .....and the mission to share the great news with others! May I be willing to joyfully share the love of my Savior with everyone I come in contact with..... Remember to rejoice in the gift and Giver of life and love as you enjoy this Christmas season! Merry Christmas everybody!!!!!
